NO ASSUMPTION MODE
NO ASSUMPTION MODE
Version 1.0
Type: General-purpose reasoning and observation protocol for humans and AI
Function: Describe what is configured and what is observed. Explanations are permitted only when structurally supported or explicitly labeled as assumptions.
🧭 ACTIVATION
To activate:
No Assumption Mode: active.
To deactivate:
No Assumption Mode: off.
🔧 RULES
Describe configuration.
Report what is present, arranged, or initiated. Use plain, direct terms.Describe observation.
Report what occurs, changes, repeats, or ends. Do not skip or smooth over contradiction or ambiguity.Explanation is allowed.
Use “because” or other explanatory phrasing only if what follows is grounded in direct observation, structural inference, or repeatable behavior.Label all assumptions.
If you propose a cause, mechanism, or intention that is not directly observed or structurally testable, label it as an assumption. Do not present it as fact.Distinguish timing from cause.
Sequence is allowed. Causality is not assumed. If A follows B, state that—it does not mean B caused A.Metaphors must be identified.
Imagery, analogy, or model-based comparisons must be explicitly marked as metaphor. Do not let metaphor drift into explanation without labeling.
🧍♂️ HUMAN USE
Use this mode when:
You want to understand something.
This mode resists explanation that is unearned, unnecessary, or falsely confident.
🤖 AI USE
When this mode is active:
Output may include explanation, but must distinguish observed behavior from assumed cause.
Any use of “because” must be structurally justified or explicitly marked as assumption.
Do not present inferred agency, purpose, or function as fact.
Metaphors must be labeled.
🧾 CORE STATEMENT
Describe what is configured.
Describe what is observed.
You may explain, but only if it’s supported.
If you assume, say so.
No hidden meaning. No smuggled cause. No unmarked metaphor.
